It is complete craziness that it’s the middle of July already but here we are! I have always felt that after the Fourth of July, the summer just goes by so quick.When it comes to summer there’s nothing better than a pool day, watermelon, grilling out! But our ideal summer weekend honestly consists of a beautiful wedding! The warm sun, guests in their best sun dresses, and golden hour photos have our heart. We had a June full of love and we wanted to share a little bit of our favorite parts of each special day!
We kicked off June with S & T, the sweetest most genuinely in love couple. They had such a cool venue that we really got to play with and make our own! Plus it was right on Lake Michigan! It was a very historic venue and had different levels to keep ceremony space and reception space separate. Another cool piece to this venue was the reception space we used felt like we were in a secret garden. It was a great space to work with and very customizable. We loved every minute of it and it was so fun to see the love this couple naturally exuded. Their special day was captured by Tache Productions.
Our second June wedding was another for the books. A picture perfect country club, beautiful bride and groom, plus the PERFECT sunny Saturday. L & B have the sweetest love story and we are honored to have been a part of it. They had known each other since pre school! I mean it doesn’t get much cuter than that. Looking back at their special day they had so many precious moments. First look with the father of the bride is always one of my favorites. This one was just so sweet and it was so evident how much dad and the bride meant to each other. Another tear jerking moment was dad giving the bride away to the groom. The groom was so happy to be receiving this ultimate gift of his new wife while dad was so proud of his daughter and bittersweetly “giving her away”.
